The Slavery Still Exists Campaign is the national grassroots public awareness program of Polaris Project on modern-day slavery and human trafficking.

Thousands of community members from across the United States have joined the campaign by holding events and taking photos showing their commitment to fighting human trafficking.

This SSEC event was organized by the Polaris Project UCLA Chapter and involved over 14 diverse student groups,
over a dozen tables, artwork of survivors, audio testimonies, several large banners and collages, and hundreds
of grassroots photos. Congratulations to the UCLA Chapter for their HUGE success!

This SSEC event was organized by the Polaris Project Colorado Chapter at the Colorado PrideFest.  They helped to raise awareness, build support for the movement in Colorado, and collected hundreds of signatures supporting stronger federal legislation.
